KBIS 2024 - GE Appliances

A collection of the design process collaborating with Deckel & Moneypenny production team to create a clear tub dishwasher for GE Profile for KBIS 2024. This dishwasher would intend to run for 12 hours for 3 show days.

TEST RUN

The dishwasher was made out of laser cut 3/4” acrylic sheets and then assembled by the in-house production team. Dry-fitting the front by clips was to test functionality and if it was leak-proof

SHOW RUN

Once tests were successful, it was drilled to add standoffs to hold the front, and black vinyl was attached to hide the electrical and boards. Dishwasher then was fitted onto a pedestal and fit in its own nook at the show

KBIS Experience Collection

It was an opportunity of a life-time to say the least when I had the opportunity to join Deckel & Moneypenny team to oversee the construction week and shows days. While being quick on my feet deep in the chaotic storm, I learned a lot about the process of building, designing, and how it all can come together in just several days to be absolutely perfect.
