Cube Exercise
For this academic assignment, I collaborated with several Graphic Design students to create package designs for premium, standard, and economy (non-specific) products. Instead of displaying static images of the cube designs, we animated them to spin, showcasing all sides dynamically.

Personal Project
In this personal project, I tasked myself to make a short hand-drawn animation from the character concept I drew.
Using procreate to execute the animation, I had to simplify the character’s pattern/features to make it faster and easier to animate. Speed and fps were also explored to create the smoothest transitions.
Final Work
A background was created to ground and give context to the figure.

Mertz Design Studio
In this project, I was tasked with designing vector characters that would be rig-friendly for animation. The use of circular joints was to create a seamless look without cleanup. Furthermore, my responsibilities involved putting the right pieces in the right layers in Illustrator to be transported to After Effects. The final consisted of a social media reel to showcase on the company’s Instagram.
Beauceron Wag
As a person who loves animals, I am exploring opportunities to create small gif videos of my favorite rare dog breeds. Did you know beaucerons can naturally come in merle? They were originally bred for herding in France but as they gained popularity, they became part of the French police K9 force. They’re still considered rare in the US, but as of 2007, they were recognized by the AKC under the herding group.
My design emphasizes their strength with big paws and a thick neck. A challenge I faced with this is that it’s impossible to animate all of those markings in the picture. I had to simplify, and by doing so, made the design choice to create large ovals to imply merle.
Sloughi Shy
Tapping more into my exploration of rare dog breeds, I showcase the sloughi known as the Arabian Sighthound. Known for work like chasing game in North African desserts, these are fast dogs with a need for speed. Very loyal to their owners, sloughis can be shy toward strangers.
Designing this pup, I wanted to emulate the demeanor of their personality with a worried look and a hunched-over back. The paws are much smaller and displays longer toes than the beauceron’s.
